When I first saw this collection you could say I swooned just a tad over it. This colour palette is my go-to. It is the colours that I use in decorating my house, and also what I have used predominantly in my scrapbooks over the years. You could say it is my comfort zone. So, most definitely, it was so easy for me to create with. It reminds me of snuggling up on the couch with a warm blanket and a good book. Comfort. It also reminds me of my grandmother and great-grandmother. The doily looking overlay on the paper, the birds, and the vintage clock in the stickers.
Adventure can be described as
Do you know someone who is going on an adventure?
Perhaps they are graduating from high school or college, going on a mission trip, or moving out on their own for the first time—and you want to wish them well in said ADVENTURE, this is the perfect card to create.
We all love to getaway. Whether it is for a day, a weekend, or a week-long vacation- it refreshes the body and soul.
Last summer, my husband and I took a week off of work to move both of our boys into their new homes. One to his sophomore year of college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the other to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for his first year of law school. It was an adventure to say the least. We travelled over 3000 miles and saw parts of the country that we had never seen before. We loved capturing photos of the road signs and countryside along the way.
“Think imaginatively using new ideas instead of traditional or expected ideas.”
Can you guess what the sentence above is a definition of? I’m almost one hundred percent positive that you’ve heard it before…
Need a hint? A square box….or lots of little square boxes.
Did you get it now? Alright, let’s check your answer.
Making it quick…and easy.
This is how most of us love to work, if we are able.
Let us show you how cutting a corner can also be FUN! … using the 4-Way Corner and Hole Punch to create a beautiful card.
I was recently at a baby shower for a friend. The mother-to-be is obsessed with cute foxes, so the location was beautifully decorated with handcrafted woodsy-themed baby decorations, the food was cleverly named with forest creatures in mind (e.g., bare meatballs with sauce served on the side were labelled as Bear Balls), and the games were equally as well-thought-out and personalised for the future mum. The only thing that wasn’t well-thought-out and customised? The baby shower cards.
As I watched her open card after card and gift card after gift card (all bearing the same company name and image, mind you), it dawned on me how special a handmade baby shower card could be.
This day is just flying by!

What do you think of when you hear that holiday mentioned?

Colour palettes are always so fabulous to use when creating a layout.
Sometimes it means that I work within one paper collection, and other times it means that I pull pieces from several paper collections.
But, how do you know where to start?
With Christmas right around the corner, this combination jumped out at me, with the traditional colours.
I am still mopping up the drool.
Did you see the new collection that we just launched last week?
Its title describes it perfectly! The collection has a very warm palette using earthy tones. While there are a few leaf embellishments, the overall palette leans too much more than just fall. Think about photos from a day at the park, a trip abroad, or even a family reunion. The Painted Harvest collection will suit all of those scrapbooking needs.
