Celebrate Canada Paper Pack doesn’t have to just be used for Canada Day and the papers don’t just have to be used in Canada! This versatile paper pack can be used for so many different layouts and occasions. There are so many great designs included. I wanted to share a few of the pages that I have done, but I have so many more pages I can envision using these gorgeous papers with my photos!
These beautiful Japonism Pastel papers and Natural Laser Cut Embellishment products were designed to honour the influence of Japanese art on Western culture and feature both natural themes and subtle graphics in soft hues.
It was fun showing you how to do a few paper folding techniques, and incorporating them into the borders as well.
Create a few of your own borders, and share with us on social media using #creativememories .
Making it quick…and easy.
This is how most of us love to work, if we are able.
Let us show you how cutting a corner can also be FUN! … using the 4-Way Corner and Hole Punch to create a beautiful card.
When I saw the new Paw Print Border Maker Cartridge and Fur Buddies Paper and Stickers, I immediately envisioned the page that I wanted to make for this blog post. Lately, I’ve been a little obsessed with using jumbo hearts in a variety of ways. And today I’m going to share with you a technique that I enjoyed teaching to the attendees at my recent weekend retreat.
School is an exciting time for our kids. As a parent, I always met the first day of school with both anticipation and trepidation. Would my child like her teacher? Would she make friends? Would she be engaged and excited to learn? Would she miss me as much as I would miss her?
To help her (and me) through her first day(s) I would tuck a note inside her lunch box. A sentiment, an “inside” joke, a funny drawing…just to let her know I was thinking about her and make her smile.
Today I want to share with you one of my absolute favourite fun folds for making cards. It’s called an easel fold. Every time I’ve given an easel card to a friend or family member they are always received with such awe and amazement – when really, it’s such an easy card to make!
So, I chose to use Mi Amor for these cards because Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. It’s sort of fun to go all out and make an extra special, handmade card to show the ones you love just how special they are!
My youngest granddaughter loves paper crafts. She’s been creating handmade gifts and cards with scrapbooking materials since she was old enough to use a pair of scissors. I think she would approve of the handmade and altered art teacher gift ideas I’m sharing with you today. All you’ll need to complete the teacher gifts I created Creative Memories scrapbooking products, a few dollar store or grocery store items, and a few items you probably already have in your home. I used scrapbooking papers, stickers and embellishments from A Year to Remember collection. I love the way it complements the end of the school year theme of today’s post. Christmas is a time when we come together around home-cooked meals and gifts under the tree. It’s also a time when your brother or grandmother tells you a story you’ve never heard before. Or, you see a cousin you haven’t seen in ten years. It’s a time filled with special moments that give you goosebumps.
Here at Creative Memories, we all share a passion for saving precious memories. These goosebump moments remind us of why we love the holidays, even when the hustle and bustle gets the best of us. We take the time to write, scrapbook and put a personal touch on these memories so that someday, our family can pull these moments off a shelf and smile and laugh over old photos.
Who doesn’t love denim? Your go-to when it’s time to kick back might just be your favourite pair of jeans. We love denim because it works with anything, can be dressed up or down and it’s super comfy. Our new Denim Blues collection is just like that. Nearly every kind of page layout works great with these comforting shades of blue denim! Here, I’ve paired it up with Fall In, Uncharted and Hello Baby Boy collections.
I’m back with another 1-2-3 Layout for you! If you are not familiar with this type of layout you’ll see that it uses 1 piece of double sided patterned paper, 2 pieces of cardstock (or scrapbook pages) and is made with just 3 simple cuts to create a lovely two page spread!
