Loveable Paw Prints Border Maker Cartridge Scrapbook Page

When I saw the new Paw Print Border Maker Cartridge and Fur Buddies Paper and Stickers, I immediately envisioned the page that I wanted to make for this blog post.  Lately, I’ve been a little obsessed with using jumbo hearts in a variety of ways.  And today I’m going to share with you a technique that I enjoyed teaching to the attendees at my recent weekend retreat.

Scrapbook Lunch Box Notes For your Children

School is an exciting time for our kids. As a parent, I always met the first day of school with both anticipation and trepidation. Would my child like her teacher? Would she make friends? Would she be engaged and excited to learn? Would she miss me as much as I would miss her?

To help her (and me) through her first day(s) I would tuck a note inside her lunch box. A sentiment, an “inside” joke, a funny drawing…just to let her know I was thinking about her and make her smile.

Mi Amor Cards!

Today I want to share with you one of my absolute favourite fun folds for making cards. It’s called an easel fold. Every time I’ve given an easel card to a friend or family member they are always received with such awe and amazement – when really, it’s such an easy card to make!

So, I chose to use Mi Amor for these cards because Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. It’s sort of fun to go all out and make an extra special, handmade card to show the ones you love just how special they are!

End of the School Year Teacher Gifts

My youngest granddaughter loves paper crafts. She’s been creating handmade gifts and cards with scrapbooking materials since she was old enough to use a pair of scissors. I think she would approve of the handmade and altered art teacher gift ideas I’m sharing with you today. All you’ll need to complete the teacher gifts I created Creative Memories scrapbooking products, a few dollar store or grocery store items, and a few items you probably already have in your home. I used scrapbooking papers, stickers and embellishments from A Year to Remember collection.  I love the way it complements the end of the school year theme of today’s post. Give Goosebump Gifts This Christmas

Christmas is a time when we come together around home-cooked meals and gifts under the tree. It’s also a time when your brother or grandmother tells you a story you’ve never heard before. Or, you see a cousin you haven’t seen in ten years. It’s a time filled with special moments that give you goosebumps.

Here at Creative Memories, we all share a passion for saving precious memories. These goosebump moments remind us of why we love the holidays, even when the hustle and bustle gets the best of us. We take the time to write, scrapbook and put a personal touch on these memories so that someday, our family can pull these moments off a shelf and smile and laugh over old photos.
