Holiday Moments with the Imagine Collection

Hello everyone. Today, I am back with another layout using the Imagine Collection. I can’t get enough of this collection. It’s such a fun collection and I just love the colours and all the stickers!

At Christmas time, Edward begged me to put the tree up. I was tired so I told him he was totally decorating the tree. All I did was pull the ornaments out for him and he went to town! I really thought he’d get tired of decorating the tree after a few ornaments, but he surprised me… He decorated the entire tree! It was a nice break for me! Ha.

Scrapbooking Design in Half the Time with Fast2Fab™ & Peekaboo Pockets™

I wasn’t sure Creative Memories could improve on the beautiful, versatile Fast2Fab™ Albums. Until I tried using the new Peekaboo Pockets™ in them, that is. A whole new world of options opened up for me! Here are a few ways I found to use the pockets to make the Full Bloom Fast2Fab™ pages work even better with my photos and stories.

#FeatureFriday – How to Create a Vintage Scrapbook Layout with Archiver’s™

Five years ago, my Mom gave me a collection of vintage postcards from Bolton Landing, NY, with correspondence from the early 1900s to 1940s. The back of the postcards have small anecdotes written to friends and family. Today, every time that I hear someone talk about their handwriting it’s always with apologies – my handwriting is awful, or, your handwriting is so much better than mine! But, whenever we look back at stories the generations have written before us, we never think… gosh, they have bad handwriting. Rather, we’re fascinated by the note they left us to read and see a small moment in their life.

I was inspired by this new Creative Memories Archiver’s™ page design that Melissa created, so I found my old postcards and decided to write down the story of why my Mom gave them to me.

Bee Mine Borders

A little bit retro, and a whole lot of bright, colourful fun. That’s how I’d describe the new Bee Mine collection. Pair it with the new Daisy Bouquet Punch and the Arrow Border Maker Cartridge and you’ve got a party!

I had so much fun playing with the bright colours and patterns.  Give it a try! You’ll be smiling in no time.

Memories to Treasure

Good morning everyone! I am here to share a project I created using the beautiful Creative Memories Archiver’s™ collection. I love this heritage scrapbook collection so much that I asked my 80-year-old grandmother to send me some photos to scrapbook using it. It is amazing how much a great photo can do for a layout… and how much vintage-themed scrapbook supplies can do to accent those photos and tell a story! Here, take a look…

How to Create the Bee Mine Arrow Border Layout

Scrapbook papers and embellishments have personalities, and Bee Mine is energizing! If you’ve been feeling a little rundown after the hustle and bustle of the holidays, get your hands on the Bee Mine collection and you’ll feel ready to create an entire album. When Melissa designed this fun Arrow Border Layout, I had to give it a try. I loved the way that she used three different colours of cardstock behind each arrow in the border design.

Loving the Bee Mine Collection

Hi everyone. I am back with another layout featuring the Bee Mine collection. For those of you who do not know me, I LOVE patterned paper. Where does time go?

It is so hard to believe that we are talking about sending the littles (or bigs in my case) back to school already.  Where does the time go?

Make sure you capture all of the special moments when you are sending them back to learn.  Their grade, the books they like to read, their teacher, their shoe size, their favourite colour, etc.

The Bookworm Collection is a fabulous pairing to any layout related to school.

The Brainiac with Bookworm

How exciting!!!  A collection for all of your school memories.

As you may remember, I am new to the scrapbooking part of papercrafting.  I have a pile of my kids’ school memories that need to get into books.  I am not overwhelmed by the process. I figure I will let the paper “speak” to me.  That is exactly what this Bookworm Collection did to me.  It spoke to me when picking a photo.  My daughter spoke to me as well!  When I showed her the picture that I decided on she said, “really Mom, you couldn’t have picked another picture that made me look less dorky?”.
