I love my digital scrapbooking content around special occasions because I can personalise, gifts, cards, invites, decorations, tags and more! Just wanted to share an idea to make your own tags for your Christmas gifts. The Christmas Past Collection is perfect for making tags!
Do you love receiving a personalised card? I do and I love making them to send to my friends and family at Christmas and all through the year. We receive so much electronic mail now and opening the mailbox to a personalised card is refreshing!
You can use the sampler with an easel on your mantle as I did, or it would also be great on your old Creative Memories Everyday Display. After the holidays are over, use the sampler as a title page for your annual Christmas album or cut it apart into three vertical panels to use as borders on scrapbook pages.
Decorating for the holidays is my absolute favourite thing to do as soon as the snow flies in Canada (and we had our first dusting this past weekend!). All the beautiful colours, that take over the whole house just transforms this time of the year.
Today I’d love to share with you two super simple ways to make your own Christmas tree ornaments this holiday season while reminiscing about memories made during holidays past!
Around Christmas families have all different traditions, customs and celebrations. One of my favourite things to do when preparing for Christmas is to put together a family advent calendar. It’s such a fun way of celebrating the season every day leading up to Christmas.
This year I used the absolutely beautiful, Christmas Past collection to create our Advent calendar and it turned out stunning! First I’ll walk you through how I made it and then I’ll share how I fill it.
Here we are–at the end of this wonderfully creative and memorable day!
We have enjoyed every minute here with all of you creative folks! While you created projects today, we also hope that you made some memories! I know that we have.
It was our pleasure to visit with you all on the Facebook Event Page–and thanks to each of you for sharing–sharing your creative talents, your special memories, your ideas for great snacks, etc. We wouldn’t enjoy this day near as much without YOU!
How are your projects coming along? Did you make time for a chocolate break? If so, that means you have energy and are ready to keep going!
Colour palettes are always so fabulous to use when creating a layout.
Sometimes it means that I work within one paper collection, and other times it means that I pull pieces from several paper collections.
But, how do you know where to start?
With Christmas right around the corner, this combination jumped out at me, with the traditional colours.
This day is just flying by!
Let’s talk about borders! Borders are simple, adorable, and functional. They also add colour, and design to any simple page layout.

We have so many ideas that we hope will inspire you today!
Welcome back to those of you who have virtually cropped with us before, and a BIG warm welcome to all you newbies!
If you are new, you might be asking yourself “What is a Virtual Crop, and WHY am I here?” Friday’s blog post helps describe the event.
First and foremost—no need to get out of your jammies! Stay comfy and just make yourself a cup of tea/coffee, grab a few photos, along with some scrappy supplies! (Oh, and you will DEFINITELY need some chocolate!)
We will be hosting several challenges right here on the blog, and posting to the events page on Facebook!
(Please SAVE all of your scraps—you will need those for the final challenge!)
Please post your completed pages on the Facebook Events Page to qualify for the door prizes that will be given away at the end of each challenge. Use the hashtag #CMVirtualChristmasCrop. If you have any questions, just ask in the comments section of each post either here on the blog or on the Facebook Page.
So, let’s get started!
