I’m back with another 1-2-3 Layout for you! If you are not familiar with this type of layout you’ll see that it uses 1 piece of double sided patterned paper, 2 pieces of cardstock (or scrapbook pages) and is made with just 3 simple cuts to create a lovely two page spread! Do you keep bookmarks handy when you’re reading a book? My husband reads a lot and keeps plenty of bookmarks laying around. Me? I use whatever is handy. Torn pieces of paper, store receipts, post-it-notes …. even unused Kleenex tissues – anything flat enough to mark my space in whatever book I’m reading.
I am a frugal crafter… to the extreme. I don’t like throwing out scraps of cardstock or designer paper and nothing makes me happier than maximising the supplies I have. Today I want to share some tips with you on how I use up some of my scraps from mini albums and scrapbook layouts to create really fun cards!
Our new Achievements Collection provides the perfect neutral background for almost any photo. The black, white and grey hues are beautiful alone but also compliment any other colour that you may wish to add. To personalise your graduation pages, simply add cardstock and ABC/123 Letters in your school colour(s). Use your solid cardstock to mat your photos or to add a simple paper strip or a border made with our new Crown Border Maker Cartridge. Or use your school colours to make a preppy argyle border to add a collegiate look to a page. The additional colour will make your pages pop! Hey all! My name is Dan Perlinger, and I am the Operations Team Lead for Creative Memories.
THANK YOU for joining us today!
We hope that you have enjoyed your day, and that you were able to get projects completed and we hope you enjoyed our very special Virtual Crop $10 coupon code today and got your order in by 6 p.m. to redeem that 10SEPTCROP coupon 🙂
You have until midnight AEST tonight to submit your challenge layouts from any of our challenges today to the Facebook Event Page to qualify for our FINAL Door Prize!
Oh my gosh–I love that I get to spend my day in my PJ’s! But, even more than that I love that I am getting to spend the day with all of YOU! It is YOU that inspires ME!
The wheels are always turning! Chocolate always helps too! I have my home-made vegan chocolate right here! What is your chocolate treat of choice?
CHALLENGE #4: Creative Journalling. Add journalling to your scrapbook layouts in a unique and creative way. It is always so important to journal. Keeping your memories alive isn’t just about the photos, but the story behind them, and unless you write them down–they get lost.
Share your layout on the Facebook Event page to be eligible for door prizes!
How are you all doing? We love seeing all the projects that you are posting on the Facebook event page! Keep them coming!
Have you ever taken the time to document YOUR life? We spend a lot of time making sure our children’s, pets, grandparents’ lives are all documented, but rarely do we ever think about documenting our own.
So, take a few minutes, and think about what you do each and every day, and how you want your family and friends to see you “at a glance”.
Challenge #3: Create a layout about a “Day in the Life”—of YOU! When you have your layout completed, make sure to take a photo and submit it on the Facebook event page to qualify for the door prizes.
Are you having FUN yet? Isn’t creating with a sketch fun?
We are LOVING all the projects that you are posting on our Facebook Event Page!
Let’s keep moving—so we can get as many projects completed today as possible!
It’s all about the completed project! Keeping those memories alive, in those beautiful scrapbooks of yours!
We are SOOOO glad that you joined us for the September Virtual Crop!

Welcome back to those of you who have virtually cropped with us before, and a BIG warm welcome to all you newbies!

Let me help answer that!
First and foremost—no need to get out of your jammies! Just make yourself a cup of tea/coffee, grab a few photos, along with some scrappy supplies! (Oh, and you will DEFINITELY need some chocolate!)
We will be hosting several challenges right here on the blog, and posting to the events page on Facebook!
Please post your completed pages on the Facebook Events Page to qualify for the door prizes that will be given away throughout the day. If you have any questions, just ask in the comments section of each post either here on the blog or on the Facebook Page.
