Scrapbooking For A King or Queen

Every little girls dreams of being a princess—heck, who am I kidding–I am still dreaming!  What would your crown look like?  I envision mine with sparkles and the colour pink!  What would yours look like?

Crowns–they are so formal and official!  I remember the days my kids would come home from school on their birthdays wearing a special crown! It made them feel so important!  So, let’s make them feel special when we add those memories to their scrapbooks by using the Crown Border Maker Cartridge.

Princess Crown Border:

To create this border you will need:

Step 1:  Cut White Cardstock to measure 12″ x 2-1/2″.

Step 2:  Cut pink paper to measure 12″ x 2″.

Step 3:  Cut mint green paper to measure 1-1/4″.

Step 4:  Cut bow border from border paper.

Step 5:  Layer the strips of paper.

Step 6:  Cut a mint green oval using the outside of the small CCS oval with the blue blade.

Step 7: Cut a yellow oval using the outside of the small CCS oval with the red blade.

Step 8: Layer ovals, and adhere to the border.

Step 9:  Add a title using the Pastel Pink ABC/123 Stickers.

Step 10:  Punch a crown border along the edge of the pink paper.  Cut to create crown. Adhere the pearls to the tips of the crown.

Step 11:  Use black pen to doodle along the edges of the oval.

 

Happy Birthday Crown Border:

To create this border. you will need:

Step 1: Cut Cranberry Cardstock to measure 12″ x 2-1/2″.

Step 2: Punch crown border from the edge of Royal Blue Cardstock. Cut to measure 12″ x 2″.

Step 3:  Cut orange chevron paper to measure 12″ x 1″.

Step 4: Cut striped paper to measure 12″ x 1/2″.

Step 5:  Layer the strips.

Step 6:  Add a title to the border using Navy ABC/123 Stickers.

Step 7:  Add star sticker.

Torn Paper Crown Layout:

To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1:  Punch a crown border along the edge of White Cardstock.  Trim this piece to measure 8″ x 10″.  Crumple in your hands.

Step 2:  Adhere piece of “paper” to the layout.

Step 3:  Cut photo mat from the green paper to measure 5″ x 7″.

Step 4:  Cut photo mat from the red paper to measure 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″.

Step 5:  Layer the photo mats, and adhere a 4″ x 6″ photo.

Step 6:  Use the black pen to draw lines and journal on the “paper”.

Step 7:  Adhere the embellishments to the layout.

Step 8:  Apply title to the embellishments using Navy ABC/123 Stickers.
